Holistic Development
The Ethiopian Council of Gospel Believers’ Churches (ECGBC) is a legally established national faith-based institution, established under Proclamation No. 1208/2020 of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE). As the national umbrella organization for Ethiopia's evangelical community, ECGBC represents and coordinates a network of more than 4,000 evangelical churches, Christian ministries, and faith-based organizations across the country.
A Legacy of Holistic Development
For more than five decades, ECGBC's member churches and affiliated institutions have made significant contributions to Ethiopia's holistic development. Guided by biblical values and a commitment to serving humanity, they have partnered with local communities, government institutions, civil society organizations, and national and international development partners to improve the quality of life of millions of Ethiopians.
